Bifrost Vaulting Poles

Bifrost is the next generation of vaulting poles from Nordic Sport. The series replaces Nordic Pole and Nordic Evo with Bifrost Fiberglass and Bifrost Hybrid. Both models were developed with leading athletes and coaches through extensive research, development and testing at elite level.

Pole vaulting has evolved from hickory and bamboo to steel and fiberglass. The arrival of fiberglass in the 1960s helped raise world records by 25 centimetres in a single year. Bifrost continues this tradition of material development with poles designed for modern training and competition.

Bifrost Fiberglass

The successor to Nordic Pole is made from high-grade fiberglass for consistent performance. It combines control, flex and durability for training, competition and athlete development. The range offers different lengths and flex ratings, a reinforced structure for durability and an optimised grip zone for secure takeoffs.

Bifrost Hybrid

Replacing Nordic Evo, Bifrost Hybrid uses a distinctive blend of materials tested by national and international elite vaulters. It is lighter than standard fiberglass poles and has a smaller diameter for a faster, more aerodynamic swing. A soft initial bend supports energy loading, followed by powerful recoil in the final phase of the vault. It is designed for experienced vaulters seeking a responsive pole and strong energy return at elite level.

Accessories and storage

Nordic Sport also offers pole bags with space for up to eleven poles, rubber and plastic pole plugs to protect pole ends, and storage garages for convenient long-term storage at athletics facilities. These accessories support handling, transport and storage between training sessions and competitions.
