The Gala BV5475S Setter 500 is a specialised training ball for practising setting technique, particularly for setters. The ball weighs approximately twice as much as a standard volleyball and is designed to strengthen the muscles in the hands, wrists and forearms.
The ball has the same basic design as Gala’s other volleyballs but is constructed for the higher weight. The outer material consists of synthetic leather and PU, while the butyl bladder is additionally wound with polyamide and rubber to achieve the correct weight while maintaining a comfortable ball feel.
