The outdoor ball is slightly smaller than the indoor ball. This makes it less sensitive to wind than the indoor ball. The canvas on the outdoor ball is also stronger, allowing it to be used on both gravel and asphalt.
However, cover the valve opening with a piece of tape when using the ball on gravel to prevent sharp gravel stones from coming into contact with the inner bladder.
